Our slow-grown beef cattle have been grass-fed on our organic farm in rural south-west Scotland and enjoyed dining on meadow grass and relaxing in our rolling green fields. We are proud of the regenerative approaches that we adopt on our farm - improving soil fertility and capturing carbon in the most natural way possible.
Pack weights are a minimum.

FAQ
Where and when do you deliver?
See our Delivery page.
Is there a farm shop that I can visit?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a farm shop on the farm. Barnbarroch is a working farm. If you would like to purchase some of our beef at short notice, please call Kylie on 07753 570 387 to arrange.
Are these animals from your farm?
Yes. We only sell our own meat from animals from our farm. We send two of our own grass-fed organically reared animals away at a time. That means we only have limited stock of certain items and when it’s gone... well, you will need to wait until next time.
We try and use as much of each animal as possible. So you will see everything from the tongue to the tail and (almost) everything in between.
Our abattoir and butcher process our animals with care. Our brilliant butcher makes sure that he makes the most of each animal for a quality result.
Is your meat fresh or frozen?
All of our meat is processed, packed and frozen at the butchers. It will arrive to you frozen.
Are you organic?
Barnbarroch is a certified organic farm with the Soil Association. Barnbarroch has been a certified organic farm since 1999 – one of the oldest in Scotland. All of our animals have a full organic life and have met all of the organic regulations up until the day they arrive at the abattoir.
Sadly our abattoir and butcher are not certified organic, so our animals lose their organic status the day they leave us.
